All three shows were fantastic, beginning with Todd opening for Robert Earl Keen at the Ryman in Nashville. Jeff Austin/Ben Kaufman from Yonder Mountain String Band and Vince Herman from Leftover Salmon were Todd's backing band for all three shows. They were phenomenal. The following night in Covington was another great show. The incredible Mary Gauthier opened for Todd. Once again, Todd was in his element and the band worked like magic. Jeff Austin played the mandolin unlike any artist I’ve ever seen. He was mesmerizing and he and Todd have a to-die-for onstage chemistry. Vince is about as cool and kind as they get. His presence on and off-stage added a lot of fun to the shows. Ben .. hmmmmmm … great picking. The Egyptian Room in Indy was my favorite show. The room was enormous, but again, Todd gave them what they wanted. Captivating, phenomenal, engaging, hysterically funny … is that possible? In my opinion, yes. Again, the band was superb, but, the show was Todd’s. A special thanks to my friends that made this vacation happen for me! | Todd Snider | | Artists and Links | Todd Snider '08 -'09 | David Childers | Michael Reno Harrell | Storyhill with Ellis | The Unnofficial Half | Pictures | Theresa | Return Home | In The House Concert Series | |
